On Feb. 26-29, Leading Real Estate Companies of the World held its annual conference at Wynn Las Vegas. During the event, Crye-Leike Real Estate Services was presented with LeadingRE's Good Things Award, which honors one brokerage that made a "positive impact in their local community by supporting a cause near and dear to their heart." Crye-Leike submitted the following essay:
"One of life's most beautiful phenomena is when good things spring forth from tragedy. In 1998, Christopher Crye (son of Crye-Leike CEO/Co-Founder Harold Crye) passed away from a tragic accident at 32 years old. In their mourning, Crye-Leike associates wanted to honor Chriss memory in a way that reflected his compassion for those less fortunate. The result was a long-standing partnership with Youth Villages, a non-profit organization
