Crye-Leike Home Services Offers New Utility Connection Center
Memphis, Tenn. - According to a recently released U.S. Census Bureau report, 46 percent of the U.S. population has been on the move over the past five years and more than half of those stayed within the same county. That was more reason for Crye-Leike Home Services to establish its new Utility Connection Center, says its director, C.F. Moore.
Crye-Leike Home Services is now offering a free way to set-up or transfer utilities, including local, long distance and wireless phone service; cable and satellite television and Internet services. The company also provides connection information for other utilities, such as gas, electric and water.
With one phone call and the assistance of a Crye-Leike home services coordinator, homeowners moving to a new area can have access to local utility service providers, allowing them to have research options and choose services that best meets their needs.

Crye-Leike Home Services Helps West Tennessee Storm Victims
Memphis, Tenn. - Without any warning, a thunderstorm of historic ferocity tore across the southern two-thirds of Memphis, Tenn., Shelby County just after dawn on Tues., July 22, 2003 that recorded 85-90 mph straight-line winds and left over 306,000 homes and businesses without power, leaving them paralyzed for days.
Yet, Crye-Leike, Realtors' headquarters building remained unscathed and still with full power. Lucky for them because its Crye-Leike Home Services Division was able to save the day by immediately responding to the emergency needs of some its customers who were storm victims to the largest outage in the history of Memphis Light Gas & Water. The massive utility-restoration process conducted by MLGW is estimated to cost them over $30 million, twice the tab stemmed from the city's 1994 ice storm.

Home Services Signs on Roto-Rooter as First Regional Partner
Memphis, Tenn. - Crye-Leike Home Services, a provider of concierge services for home buyers and sellers of Crye-Leike, the nation's 13th largest real estate company, announces signing its first regional marketing partner, Roto-Rooter, the largest provider of plumbing and drain cleaning services in North America.
The marketing agreement between Roto-Rooter and Crye-Leike Homes Services extends Roto-Rooter the opportunity to provide discounted plumbing and drain cleaning services to Crye-Leike's customers, sales associates and employees within counties and neighboring states in and around the Greater Memphis, Nashville and Chattanooga areas. Crye-Leike Launches Homes Services in Chattanooga Area
Before a Crye-Leike client moves into a new home, Crye-Leike Home Services can arrange to have the utilities turned on, the yard landscaped and gutters installed or repaired.
Home Services is also available to those needing services after the move.
The free concierge service is offered to Crye-Leike clients, both buyers and sellers, and to Crye-Leike sales associates and employees. It provides access to more than 665 local and national suppliers of a broad range of home and family-related services.
Crye-Leike started Home Services in Memphis in July 2001 and expanded it to Nashville in November. Harold Crye, Crye-Leike CEO, will unveil the program to metropolitan Chattanooga area sales associates on Tuesday at the quarterly meeting of Crye-Leike of Chattanooga.
